Chrysler Overhauls Minivans for 2008

Only two new minivans — the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan — debut for 2008, but they are a significant step up from their predecessors in terms of interior quality. They offer unique features like Swivel 'n Go seating, which allows second-row passengers to face the third row and includes a table that can be placed between these rows.
Three V-6 engines are offered in both the Town & Country and Grand Caravan, and the most powerful of the three makes 240 horsepower. Standard safety features include side curtain airbags and an electronic stability system.
Minivans are ideal for road trips, and the Chrysler and Dodge minivans can have a DVD entertainment system to pass the time. The system supports multiple sources so second- and third-row occupants don't have to watch the same program. Sirius Backseat TV is also available; it carries Nickelodeon, the Disney Channel and Cartoon Network.
