2008 Hyundai Models

Manufacturer Lineup
2008 Models
Hyundai Accent (2008)
$9,650 – $10,900
Hyundai's least-expensive model receives a handful of new interior features, including an upgraded stereo, for 2008. Available in hatchback and sedan body styles, the Accent competes with economy cars like the Chevrolet Aveo, Nissan Versa and Toyota Yaris.
Hyundai Azera (2008)

$15,950 – $18,750
Hyundai's full-size sedan adds an optional navigation system and a few more standard features for 2008. The midlevel SE trim level has been put out to pasture, leaving the base GLS and top-shelf Limited. The Azera competes with large sedans like the Toyota Avalon, Chrysler 300 and Buick Lucerne.
Hyundai Elantra (2008)
$12,050 – $12,300
The Elantra compact sedan should appeal to the safety-conscious even more for 2008, as an electronic stability system becomes available on the uplevel Elantra SE. Competitors include the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla and Chevy Cobalt.
Hyundai Entourage (2008)
$17,550 – $19,350
Introduced in 2007, the Entourage is a sister of the Kia Sedona minivan — itself a successful model since its 2002 introduction. It's packed with the usual features and options in this class — things like folding third-row seats and dual and power-sliding rear doors.
Hyundai Santa Fe (2008)

$16,650 – $18,450
One year after its redesign, the Hyundai Santa Fe gains a few more standard features at higher trim levels for 2008, as well as an available navigation system. The Santa Fe competes with other midsize SUVs, including the redesigned Toyota Highlander and the Subaru Tribeca.
Hyundai Sonata (2008)

$13,900 – $15,050
The Hyundai Sonata now offers a four-cylinder or V-6 with any trim level; last year the engine choices were restricted by which trim level you chose. At any trim, the Sonata offers a litany of safety and convenience features at an affordable price, something that's made it the value choice against popular midsize sedans like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
Hyundai Tiburon (2008)
$14,200 – $16,550
Fresh off last year's restyling, the Hyundai Tiburon has few changes for '08. The sporty compact sits somewhere between a mild-mannered coupe — think Scion tC — and a genuine performance car, like the V-6 Mitsubishi Eclipse. As such, it roughly competes with both.
Hyundai Tucson (2008)
$14,400 – $17,600
The Tucson is Hyundai's smallest SUV, intended to compete with the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V. The 2008 model adds active head restraints and an upgraded stereo.
Hyundai Veracruz (2008)
$25,000 – $28,200
The 2008 Veracruz gains a number of standard features on its highest, Limited, trim level, and a navigation system joins the options list for the first time. Though Hyundai says the Veracruz competes with luxury SUVs like the Lexus RX 350, shoppers will likely compare it to less-expensive offerings like the Honda Pilot and redesigned Toyota Highlander.
