2008 Models
Saab 9-3 (2008)

$18,050 – $28,000
Saab's 9-3 sedan gets a redesigned exterior for 2008, and it will gain all-wheel drive later in the model year. It's positioned as Saab's entry-level sedan, and it competes with the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Volvo S60. The 9-3 is available as a convertible, SportCombi (read, wagon) and sedan. The Aero is the uplevel trim in all body styles, and each comes with a 2.8-liter turbocharged V-6 engine.
Saab 9-5 (2008)
$20,800 – $23,300
The 9-5 is Saab's top-of-the-line car, and it competes with cars such as the Acura TL, Volvo S60 and Lincoln MKZ. It's available as both a sedan and wagon, which Saab calls a SportCombi. All 9-5s are front-wheel drive and are powered by a 260-horsepower, turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. The 9-5 was extensively redesigned for 2006 and receives only minor changes for 2008.
Saab 9-7X (2008)
$23,300 – $28,000
The Saab 9-7X debuted in 2005, giving the automaker an entry into the luxury SUV fold. It's structurally related to the Chevrolet TrailBlazer and GMC Envoy and is built in Ohio, not Sweden. Despite those underpinnings, GM aims its 9-7X at upmarket SUVs such as the Volvo XC90 and Volkswagen Touareg. New wheel choices and a new exterior color — Cocoa Metallic — are the only changes for 2008.
