Just purchased the vehicle last week, but so far I love it. Stronger and better at towing than my last truck, an F150. Comfortable and full featured at the XLT trim level. Surprisingly affordable, same basic cost as the F150 equipped the same way.
2017 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.2 gas. Best bang for the buck. I pull about 6k pounds daily and this truck handles it like it's not even back there. The diesel is an added $8k+ to sticker price plus the DEF fluid, $200 oil changes, and if it breaks out of warranty you'll be taking out a mortgage on your home to repair. These 6.2s have enough power to pull whatever you want, will last well over 250k miles with correct maintenance and cost $35 to change the oil. I do not regret buying the gas over diesel at all. The truck is comfortable and has a great ride for a straight axle truck. Would definitely buy again.
Moving up from a 1/2 ton to a 3/4 ton Truck, Ford has more torque, HP, and payload than Chevy comparing gas powered mid trim level crew cabs. A flat rear floor without obstructions was a must for the dogs, this truck has a vast space back there.

The new body style is awesome. Very well built truck. The 6.7l diesel is very quiet and has a lot of power. The truck has a very smooth ride and was a great step up from my 2001 F250 SD with the 7.3l engine.
Truck is smoother then previous Super Duties and feel solid. Seating is above average with regards to support. Plenty of room. Have not had any issues yet. Price and mpg are the only detractors. Cost is not a bargain, and can go up FAST with options to crazy cost. MPG so far has not been great, only average 12.6. However i am told that will go up with break in as i only have 1800 miles on it.
